18 years ago, when Nishan started hi life in the UK and was surprised to find that the relationship between Bulgaria and its diaspora in the UK were not at the level he would have expected. Today the Bulgarian community in the UK is much bigger, much better organised and has become probably the biggest Bulgarian diaspora abroad.
